HOST A GATHERING. MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Open your home, or your network, to a conversation that matters.
By hosting a Building Impact Gathering, you can bring people together to learn about Jimmy Simpson Foundation’s vision for lifelong brain injury care and inspire meaningful support for the Foundations for the Future campaign.
A simple gathering can become something powerful.
What is a Building Impact Gathering?
Building Impact Gatherings are a way to bring people together around something that matters to you. By hosting, you’re creating space to share your values with your community and support a mission that’s making a real, local impact.
These intimate gatherings offer an opportunity to introduce others to the Jimmy Simpson Foundation’s vision for lifelong brain injury care at Safehaven in a way that feels personal, thoughtful, and grounded in connection.

Make an impact that’s……
Personal.
Guests connect directly with the people and stories behind the work.
Flexible and customizable.
You choose the date, time, and format that works best for your network.
Low‑cost and high‑impact.
By using an intimate setting instead of a large venue, more of every dollar raised can go toward the Foundation’s capital campaign.
Comfortable.
Perfect for guests who don’t love big events, smaller groups often lead to deeper, more honest conversations.
Gather Your Community with Intention
Building Impact Gatherings are designed to feel personal, intentional, and reflective of how you naturally connect with others. As a host, you have the flexibility to shape the experience.
The goal is to create a welcoming environment where guests feel comfortable engaging, building relationships, and deepening their connection to the mission.
Some examples include:
- Coffee & Conversation
- Cocktails & Connection
- Dinner With Purpose
Your gathering should align with your hosting style and the type of experience you want your guests to have.
your role as a host
Building Impact Gatherings are designed to be a minimal lift for the host while providing a huge benefit to JSF. Our
Host Toolkit has everything you need to help recruit, plan, and execute a first-class event that your circle will be excited to attend. As a host, your responsibilities are simple:
BEFORE THE EVENT
Partner with the JSF team to shape a gathering that reflects your style, whether in your home or a venue that feels right to you. You can take the lead on planning or lean on the JSF team for support along the way.
Thoughtfully invite 10-20+ guests from your network, people who may be interested in learning more and getting involved.
DURING THE EVENT
Welcome your guests with a few brief remarks, sharing why this cause matters to you, what inspired you to bring everyone together, and offering a light introduction to the Jimmy Simpson Foundation’s Foundations for the Future and the work being done.
Spend time connecting with your guests, making introductions, sparking conversation, and creating space for people to engage with one another and learn more about JSF and Safehaven in an organic way.
AFTER THE EVENT
Take a moment to reflect with the JSF team on the connections that came together, seeing how your network showed up and the collective impact it can create.
From there, the JSF team can continue momentum by staying in touch with guests who felt inspired, helping deepen those relationships, and collectively supporting a cause that matters.
