Welcome to the Brain Injury Awareness Adventure Series!
Engaging children’s books that teach brain injury awareness through storytelling, empathy, and hope.
About the series
discover the adventures
Created by the Jimmy Simpson Foundation (based in Rock Spring, GA) and written by Ian Russell, this series introduces children to brain injury awareness in a fun, relatable, and age-appropriate way. We understand that brain injuries are often "invisible injuries," so our books explain causes, symptoms, and the road to recovery using language that kids can easily understand.
Who It’s For:
These books are perfect resources for families, schools, libraries, pediatricians' offices, and rehabilitation facilities, and more.
Our Mission:
To foster compassion, promote inclusion, and empower young readers to navigate the physical, cognitive, and emotional changes following a brain injury.
